Hotel Cardoso

Great location, lovely staff, the hotel also had most of what you could want from a hotel in Maputo (onsite restaurant, bar, gym) and the rooms were great, very clean and comfortable. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Maputo that doesn't break the bank like Southern Sun, but is a bit nicer than some of the other hotels, you should stay here

The Hotel is very well located and has an exceptional view. It is very quiet, no street noise whatsoever. The bed is very comfortable. The internet works perfectly. All the staff are really wonderful. I am looking forward to staying there again during my next trip to Maputo.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They helped us carry our lagguage, helped us secure parking close to entrance and made sure we were comfortable. The staff just has a way of making people feel special. It's quite neat in and out. Lovely sights. I booked the hotel for my husband birthday and he was welcomed with a surprise birthday present.

Loved the pool terrace for drinks in the evening. Great atmosphere overlooking the yacht club towards the harbour. Lovely bar and restaurant.

The cleanliness of the rooms, the wonderful food and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff were excellent. In the reception Eduardo, Cecilia, Neyde and Ilda were amazing. There was a problem with the bathroom drainage of our room and for that they gave us an upgrade, they made bookings for the restaurants and on the whole were very helpful.
